　　11月学校教科室给我们教师安排的学习是借阅专业书籍，撰写阅读心得。在林林总总的书单里，一本书的名字映入了我的眼帘《做最好的英语老师》。这个题目简单明了，贴合我的内心期待，于是拿来一读，确实收获颇丰。

　　打开书本，第一页是对作者的简介。葛文山，江苏省张家港外校副校长，全国优秀外语教师、江苏省“苏派名师”……这一个个响当当的名号彰显了作者的实力，而序言中江苏省中小学教育研究室何峰教研员对葛老师的评论更是揭露了他成功的奥秘：“葛文山的教学成果斐然。他任教的历届班级不仅高考成绩在全市名列前茅，而且，许多学生因为他的课堂爱上了英语，把英语作为自己终生的爱好或职业。这是因为他把研究学生和课堂作为科研的主体，备课、上课、听课、作业布置和批改、辅导、考试和试题等教学过程都是他的研究对象。正是这样细致深入的研究，让葛文山从一个行走者成长为一个思想者，非常精准地把握了教科研与教学的关系”。这么一位成绩斐然、年轻有为的教师写的书着实引起了我的兴趣，带着自己工作以来的困惑，我开始了阅读。

　　全书分为三个板块，“理论探究”一块葛老师分享了他对时下英语教学理论的认识，这些认识不单单局限于理论的解读，而是通过结合他的教学实际做了反思。这些理论包括模块课程、任务型教学、跨文化意识、英语课程标准等。第二个板块“实践智慧”则是概述了他十多年教学实践中总结的词汇、听力、课堂提问、阅读、写作等方面的经验。第三个板块“教师成长”选取了教师专业发展中的`热门话题如“如何写好英语教研论文”、“英语教师如何开展说课”、“如何开设大型英语公开课”分享他的方法，这些方法实用、有说服性，读来有种醍醐灌顶的感觉，回答了我迫切想要得到解答的许多问题。限于篇幅，我把感触最深的几篇文章做一个叙述。

　　首先是本书的第一篇文章“语文教学给了我们什么启发？”。看到这个标题，很多人都会和我有一样的疑问，语文教学能给英语什么启发？回想自己，我把学科与学科孤立对待，不会主动去听语文课，和语文老师的接触仅限于交流学生情况，更不用说考虑从语文学科中借鉴方法移植到英语教学中了。而有心的葛老师通过分析小学语文教学的输入性教学，即“强调让学生多听、多诵读、多模仿、多抄写、多记忆”，来指出现今英语教学中的误区，他谈到“近期，我国的中小学英语强调交际，注重学以致用，这本身没有错，但是学以致用并不等于即学即用。中小学英语课堂教学有一个误区，就是英语老师往往在新知识授课结束之后，马上让学生表演，期待学生活学活用，这似乎有点强人所难，严重的会增加学生的焦虑感，这是需要纠正的一种倾向……我国的中小学英语教学要遵循语言学习规律，侧重英语的可理解性输入，要根据实际情况相应地突出‘学中用’、‘学后用’，不能拔苗助长，盲目追求即学即用。”这段话读来让人不得不佩服作者的细心观察和独到见解。确实在现实中，不论是几次的听课还是之前自己上课，我们老师都习惯在新授课之后设计让学生表演的环节，而展示课上学生十分流利的表演总给人一种“做了功课”的感觉，到自己上课，发现学生总是忍不住看屏幕上课文的提示，从而影响表演的流畅性，渐渐觉得这样的设计不太合理。直到看到葛老师的这番话，才更加确信自己的疑惑，此后把表演环节移到第[内容来于斐-斐_课-件_园https://www.zuowenku.net]二课时，既复习了旧知，又呈现了流畅生动的表演。让我深受启发的不仅是葛老师的观点，更是他能积极思考，建立对比，吸取营养的行为。在语言学的课程中，第一语言(L1)和第二语言(L2)的关系是一个热门话题，关于汉语对英语学习的正面和负面影响都有大量的研究材料。如何把所学知识调动起来，运用到实际教学中，是我需要向葛老师学习的。

　　在本书中，还有一篇文章给予了我很多的思考：《给新上岗英语老师的三点建议》。工作伊始，我特别盼望能有经验丰富的教师跟我分享工作心得，让我借鉴学习，少走弯路，而葛老师的这篇文章正是起到了这样的作用。葛老师在建议二边模仿边创新，变知识储备为教学技能，培养英语教学的组织能力中提到“新任英语教师不要盲从或跟风当前流行的教学理念，等自己积累了一定的教学经验后再去尝试。反复听、大量诵读、认真模仿是我国中小学英语教学的基本途径，这些方法看似很土、很原始，却行之有效。”在我自己的教学中，因为初出茅庐，再加上作为学生的十几年的学习经历，自身对教学有一定的看法，迫切希望自己能打破以往的教学模式，给予学生一个快乐课堂，在快乐中学习英语的体验。但是当我看到学生糟糕的默写情况、极不流利的诵读时，我意识到没有一定量的练习巩固，学生知识得不到掌握，快乐学习便失去了意义。传统的、约定俗成的教学模式之所以能流传，必有它的可取之处，作为新教师，只有先习得既定教学方法，再在此基础上思考创新，才是可取的途径。此外，葛老师还提醒新教师“尽快培养英语教学的组织能力。”它包括：

　　（1）维持课堂秩序；

　　（2）调控学生的情绪和注意力；

　　（3）处理课堂教学中的突发事件；

　　（4）保持课堂的连贯性和平稳过渡；

　　（5）及时回应学生的不当行为；

　　（6）合理分配课堂时间；

　　（7）建立和谐的师生关系等。这一点与糜校长在开学初与我们新教师见面时给的建议“尽快学会管住学生”不谋而合。而这一点也是这几个月工作下来让我感触最深的。作为学生，我喜欢那些知识渊博、为人和善的老师，因此也努力让自己做这样的老师。但是在教学中我发现，太过和善、与学生打成一片会缺乏老师应有的威信，课堂纪律和教学效果都受到了很大的影响，如何做到让学生喜欢，又能不影响教学效果，这是我一直在摸索的命题。

　　除了上文提到的两篇文章，葛老师书中还有很多内容让我深受启发，如“英语教师如何开展说课”为我马上要参加的说课比赛提供了很多切实可行的建议；“三分靠教学、七分靠沟通”指引我如何进行以人为本的教学管理，走进学生内心，做一个受学生欢迎的英语老师。总之，本书实在是一本值得英语老师阅读借鉴的好书。最好的英语老师或许遥不可及，但我们一直可以向着更好的英语老师前进。最后，再引用序言中何峰教研员的一段话，与各位老师共勉：“教师的生命价值永远体现在课堂上，但是也不能止步于课堂。“功夫在诗外”，心中没有课堂就失去了师者的阵地，心中只有课堂就失去了课堂的源头活水。只有思考着，实践着，这样的老师才会走得更远，飞得更高”。
