I live in a kampong. It is quite far away from town. It is a beautiful kampong.
The air in the kampong is clean. Unlike in the town or city the air is dirty. This is because of the many factories and cars and buses. They produce smoke. Smoke dirties the air.
There are many trees around the kampong. These trees provide shade. Under them it is very cool even in the afternoon.
We have running stream in the kampong. The water comes from the hills. There is a constant supply of the water. We drink this water.
The distant hills are beautiful. Early in the morning the sun peeps from the hills.
The surrounding of my kampong is beautiful. I love to live here.
Our house cat
There are tame cats and wild cats. Our house is a tame cat. The tiger and lion are wild cats. They live in the wild.
Our house cat lives with us. They like our company. They depend very much on us for food. They love to eat fish.
Our cats sleep most part of the day. They are more active at night. At night they hunt for mice and lizards. After catching a mouse, the cat will play with it before eating it.
We keep cats in our house to catch mice. If there is no cat around there will be mice around our house. They evenplay on the ceiling of our house. With a cat around the mice will leave the house.
They are afraid they will be eaten by our cat.
Our house cats are good. They are clean and help us to drive away mice.
