Hi Carrie,
I hope you're doing well! Exam season isreally starting up for me now, but that also means the school year is almostover. It seems like my summer is going to be super busy with collegeapplications and everything, but because I'm vaccinated against Covid, I'llhopefully get to travel a bit and see some of my family I haven't seen ina long time, so I'm looking forward to that! I'm especially excited to see mycousins, aunt, and uncle since I haven't seen them since like Thanksgiving inNovember of 2019. How have things been going for you? I hope things aren't toobusy. Are you still in the school year or has summer started? Do you have anyplans? I hope you're getting the chance to go out more now and that your familyis safe. Last time I think you told me about a big project you were working on,I hope that went well!

友情的维护
前不久，我给好朋友小婷发了她最喜欢的玩偶的照片。
她很破天荒地很热情地和我聊了好一会，只到实在找不到关于那玩偶的话题，也就作罢了，闲聊再一次中断。
后来认真的分析了一下，近几年来，我们之间的联系越来越少，几乎大部分时间都是我在主动地联系她，而她几乎从未对维持这份曾经要好的友谊再多出上一份力。
因为如果只是家常闲聊，她都只到寥寥数语带过，有点一字千金，这样我就很自觉地中止聊天，毕竟一个人的热情有点像唱独角戏。
所以当看到她因为一只玩偶的热情，让我很是感慨。
可能她也找不到共同话题，更是也不想多花费时间去运营守护。
如果一想，也就释然一些，的确也没必要去要求别人怎样。
自己想维护这一段友谊，也许只是对曾经流逝的岁月的怀念，对当时的那个自己，当时的那个她，而不是如今已有很大不同的她。
所以，也就没必要纠结啦！
